April 17th COVID-19 Update
/Dear Beloved Family of Patients & Friends,
Since March 18, 2020, our team has been working from home, heeding the advice of local, state, and federal public health officials. We thought we would update you on what we’ve been up to.
During the shutdown, our team has been busy as we work from home:
Michelle and Denice – our front desk team – continue to answer your calls and queries via phone, text, and email. Our 24/7 Answering Service also continues.
Our doctors are helping patients like you via phone, text, and “virtual consults”.
We are lead sponsors of an emergency network to provide “PPE” (protective gear) to the frontline workers in our community. For more info, go to printtoprotect.com.
Our whole team is spending at least 3 hours per day in training via Zoom.
We’re learning about everything from the latest COVID19 infection control techniques for safe dental treatment to how Disney delivers 5-Star Customer Service.
We are training hard so that when we re-open, we’re going to be better, safer, and more awesome than ever!
The COVID19 virus is dangerous. Coronavirus has made spit and snot potentially deadly. HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, was spread largely by blood and lower body fluids. HIV was not spread by spit or snot. The Coronavirus that causes COVID19 spreads with spit and snot. With COVID19, about 20% of us could get very sick and 1-5% could die. If everyone got sick at the same time, large numbers of people would suffer and our society could be totally crippled. That is why we are in virtual lockdown.
We cannot provide elective dental care at this time, but we are still here to help you. There are shortages of protective gear nationwide, and even the hospital workers on the front line don’t have all the masks and gloves they need. We can only assist patients in extreme pain with serious emergencies. Still, we look forward to re-opening soon, God willing, to be able to serve you all. As soon as we are able to obtain protective gear (PPE), we will again offer emergency services at our office. Please contact us should you have any concerns.
With lots of love and warmest regards,
Dr Mas’ood, Dr Nabeel & the rest of your dental team
